10th Mountain Division activates new UAS and launched effects Company to advance drone enabled warfare

In December 2025 the 10th Mountain Division officially activated Fox Company, 1st Battalion, 10th Aviation Regiment, a first of its kind unit designed to enhance the Army’s expanding use of UAS and launched effects across the modern battlefield.

The new company, established under the 10th Combat Aviation Brigade, reflects the Army’s accelerated push to develop, field, and integrate advanced drone and loitering munitions technologies into divisional formations.
