Azerbaijan has reportedly added Baykar’s new-generation SİVRİSİNEK (“Mosquito”) loitering munition to its armed forces inventory, marking a significant enhancement in the country’s long-range precision strike capabilities. Azerbaijani defense outlet TURAN Defence AZ reported that the Turkish-developed system, capable of operating at ranges exceeding 1,000km, has been observed in Azerbaijani Army service, including within units stationed in the strategically important Nakhchivan exclave.
