Baykar Demonstrates Air-to-Air Capability with Kemankes 1 Loitering Munition

Turkish defense company Baykarhas successfully demonstrated a new capability for its Kemankes 1 loitering munition, expanding its role from ground attack to air-to-air engagements. In a recent test, the AI-enabled munition was launched from the Bayraktar Akinci unmanned combat aerial vehicle (UCAV) and intercepted an aerial target mid-flight.
