DDP launches new reusable bomber/dropper drone competition with $32 million in prototype orders

The U.S. Drone Dominance Program (DDP) has announced a new procurement initiative focused on reusable bomber/dropper UAS, expanding its efforts beyond one-way attack drones to provide warfighters with additional low-cost strike capabilities. The announcement forms part of the program’s new Phase 2.5 Request for Solutions (RFS) – Mission C, unveiled on July 20, 2026.
