The U.S. Defense Innovation Unit (DIU) announced earlier this month that four companies have been awarded contracts for Project Artemis, which aims to operationally evaluate long-range, one-way unmanned aerial systems (UAS) platforms.
In partnership with the Department of Defense’s Office of the Under Secretary of Defense for Acquisition & Sustainment (A&S), the project will focus on testing these platforms in Electronic Warfare and Global Navigation Satellite System (GNSS)-denied environments.
