Indian Air Force to Arm Garud Commandos with Loitering Munitions

The Indian Ministry of Defence has issued a Request for Information for a Man Portable Loitering Munitions System (MPLMS) intended to give the Air Force’s Garud special forces an organic precision strike capability. The requirement reflects lessons drawn from recent conflicts and the growing operational value of expendable, man-carried strike drones for units operating behind enemy lines.
