Textron Systems awarded U.S. Army prototype agreement for LASSO loitering munition Program

Textron Systems Corporation has been awarded a prototype agreement by the US Army under the Low Altitude Stalking & Strike Ordnance (LASSO) program, the company announced on February 25.

Under the agreement, Textron Systems will deliver its Damocles loitering munition system and conduct a demonstration for the US Army as part of the LASSO effort, which is focused on evaluating next-generation precision strike capabilities.
