The UK Ministry of Defence has set out a wide-ranging package of battlefield capabilities being fast-tracked into service through Task Force Rapstone, an Army-led initiative designed to accelerate the delivery of new equipment and technologies.
Minister for Defence Readiness and Industry Luke Pollard said the program is focused on rapidly fielding systems intended to improve the British Army’s ability to operate in increasingly contested environments. Key areas of emphasis include drones, counter-drone capabilities, electronic warfare, and enhanced digital command-and-control tools.
