War Department invites 25 vendors to compete in Phase I of Drone Dominance Program

The US Department of War announced on February 3 the 25 companies selected to compete in Phase I of the Drone Dominance Program (DDP), a major acquisition reform effort aimed at rapidly fielding low-cost, unmanned one-way attack drones at scale.

Accelerating Drone Acquisition at Scale

The Drone Dominance Program is designed to strengthen America’s Arsenal of Freedom by dramatically shortening acquisition timelines and prioritizing speed, scale, and operational effectiveness. The initiative emphasizes competition, rapid iteration, and direct warfighter involvement.
